Admissions Angle was founded in 2019 by Alex Loveless and Noelle Compton, who had just repatriated to America after spending nearly a decade living and working in Seoul, South Korea. In Seoul, Alex and Noelle began their careers as test preparation instructors for The Princeton Review before getting recruited into the competitive college admissions sector by a well-known boutique consulting firm.
When Alex and Noelle chose to return to America, they did so with the goal of bringing their niche expertise and talent to the nascent industry of admissions consulting but with a few crucial differences in their method. While East Asian consultants take a prescribed and hands-on approach, which can result in ethical gray areas, Alex and Noelle were determined to take a student-led, highly customized program. Primarily, their goals were to: a) emphasize best-fit colleges in addition to prestige b) help students discover their intellectual vitality through activities, academic discovery, and service rather than outlining a solely strategic approach, and c) work together with students and parents, rather than letting the parents call the shots. Alex and Noelle believed that students would achieve the best admissions results through a combination of strategy and authenticity; it is the latter quality that separates Admissions Angle from its competitors.
As Admissions Angle grows, Alex and Noelle always will continue working one-on-one with students and their families as well as offering workshops, seminars, webinars, and fresh content. Doing so is good practice for connecting with the industry and other mentors, but it's also the core reason for doing the work in the first place: to help students discover what their dreams are and empower them to realize their full potential.

We emphasize the value of supporting local communities. We believe that civic involvement breeds excellent citizens and excellent candidates for top colleges and will help students find unique and genuine ways to serve their communities.
We are limited to a select number of students each year so that Alex or Noelle can be personally involved with each application. We will never pass your student off to an intern or a college student.
